Maybe your dress is black, your venue is a mountaintop, and you found each other over a D&D campaign. Maybe you're trading vows on a dive bar dance floor or running away to somewhere wild and remote. The people who feel a little awkward in front of a camera but deeply at home with each other, you are my people. Whoever you are, whoever you love, every love story deserves to be told beautifully, honestly, and without apology, wherever in the world that takes us.

What My Clients Say

Working with Leah was such a wonderful experience! She manages to walk that line between laid back and completely professional so well that I was instantly comfortable working with her. She immediately understood our vision and delivered beautifully. She was communicative and on the ball with dates/times/contracts & very responsive to any questions. Day of she did a great job directing my husband and I, helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera even though that is very much not our comfort zone. The photos are gorgeous and I can’t get over how well they turned out. Thank you Leah!!

I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me.

Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves.

In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

I asked Leah to be my wedding photographer years before I even met my husband after seeing photos from different weddings I was apart of. Her work is phenomenal. This spring I got married and Leah was our photographer. THE PICTURES WERE PHENOMENAL!! I am still in awe of the beauty and magic Leah captured that day. If you are looking for a photographer that can capture more than a picture…Leah Flores is your photographer.

When I say Leah is the best, I absolutely mean it. Our first experience working with her was at our wedding. The photos turned out better than I could have ever expected. She really captured us as a couple - not just the big day - but the actual love we have for one another. I frequently get comments that our wedding photos are some of the best people have seen and I have to agree. My husband and I are NOT that comfortable in front of the camera. Leah has a special gift of bringing calm and comfort in the session, which allowed us to drop the awkwardness and really be vulnerable with one another. The photos are beautiful and I cherish the relationship we’ve built with Leah. She just rocks, period.

I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

Meet Leah

she/her

I was an awkward homeschooled kid who grew up in national parks, completely obsessed with dinosaurs and convinced I didn't quite fit anywhere. The daughter of an immigrant, born on a leap year, on the day that only exists every four years, I spent my childhood in wide open spaces feeling a little out of place everywhere except outside. Somewhere along the way, a camera became the thing that made the world make sense.

I've now photographed over 300 weddings, from the misty Scottish Highlands to the lantern-lit streets of Vietnam, and everywhere in between. When I'm not shooting weddings, you'll find me snorkeling in the Galápagos or on safari in South Africa chasing lions and leopards at dawn, then back home on the couch with my cats, deep in a D&D campaign, being too competitive at board games, or talking my friends into one more escape room. I'll also never say no to a live show or soccer match.

I photograph people who know what it feels like to not quite see themselves reflected back. Every body, every background, every way of loving - your images should look like you, not a template. Representation isn't a gesture for me, it's the whole point.
